Despite maximum tariffs by Donald Trump, talks between India and US are still on. Till now Rakesh Agrawal, newly appointed Secretary Commerce was the Chief Negotiator for the talks. Now, the ministry has to appoint a new Chief Negotiator to carry on further talks. After Agrawal's alleviation, there is no special secretary in the ministry. Now one has to see whether, new Negotiator will be from the three Additional Secretaries or the govt appoints a new Special Secretary.
